The movement via a children’s book to remind every little girl that she is a mini Goddess

Thank you so much for being here.
I'm Lauren Joyce, founder of The Magnetic Woman and a Magdalene Priestess. For over a decade, I've taught women around the world how to reclaim their Feminine Power through pleasure.
Now, I am lucky enough to have the most wonderful little niece. And one day, sitting in a coffee shop, I got to thinking about everything I've learned, cultivated, embodied, and taught over these years — about Goddesses, the Sacred Feminine, Feminine Power, Intuition, Magic…. All of that wisdom, sitting inside me. And I found myself asking: how do I begin to pass this down to her?
And I realized that I wanted to write her a children’s book….what better way to begin to pass down this wisdom than through a story - one that would center her as the heroine.
And, You Are, Mini Goddess was born from that question. A book to remind a little girl that she is a mini goddess. That she holds magic, wisdom, and power already, innately, without having to earn it. And that even when the world tells her she's too much, too loud, too wild — even when people try to convince her to shrink, to be quiet, to fit into a box — she can always come back to this truth: she is a goddess.
I didn't have anything like this growing up. There was no children's book that centered the Goddess — that told me, as a little girl, that I already held magic and wisdom and power inside me.
We had plenty of books that center princesses who give their power away to be with the prince, but none that show us that we always have and always will hold all of the power.
As I started sharing this with my closest friends, I realized this book wasn't just for my niece. It was for every child. And probably for our own inner children too.
This is more than a children’s book...It is a MOVEMENT.
As women raised inside patriarchal culture — inside a world still largely run by patriarchal religions — so much has been systematically dismantled in us. We've had to unlearn just to remember that we are, and always were, the embodiment of the Goddess.
I found myself asking: what would my life have looked like if I'd been taught this at five years old instead of thirty-five? What would my clients' lives have looked like? What would the world look like if every little girl grew up already plugged into her own magic, trusting her intuition, loving her body — instead of having to fight her way back to it as an adult?
That question is why this book exists. And it's why I'm not simply publishing it — I'm building a movement around it before it ever reaches a shelf.
Twelve Goddesses, from every corner of the world
There are hundreds — thousands — of Goddesses across history and culture. This is a children's book, so I had to choose. I chose twelve, and it was essential to me that these twelve represent different cultures and different parts of the globe — so that any child, from anywhere, opening this book might see themselves reflected in one of these pages.
Because up until about 2,000 years ago, nearly every culture and society on Earth worshipped the Goddess, or Goddesses. That power, that reverence for the feminine, is our inheritance. This book is one small way of handing it back.
(The main character is inspired by my niece, so she's a little girl — but this book, and this wisdom, belongs to every child.)
