The Pleasure Priestess!
This group of priestesses that is constantly overlooked, despite having held so much power in ancient societies. They were so powerful in fact they have been systematically demonized. And yet it is this category of priestesses that most women need now more than ever…..because what is required are SOVEREIGN Feminine women, women who are anchored and grounded into their spiritual path AND their bodies. The women who have merged the sacred and the sexy and have come to see pleasure AS holy.
We can look back throughout history for these Priestesses, these guides……
The women who were devoted to Inanna, Isis, Aphrodite, the women who were trained in pleasure and sensuality and were seen as the embodiment of the Goddess, the Goddess incarnate.
Growing up I went to Catholic school for 10 years, and as far back as anyone knows on all sides of my family there is Catholicism. So of course I never heard of the term priestess, other than in reference to pagans and heretics and always framed in a way that made it clear how wrong and sinful that was. Fast forward to when i was 25, had left the church and didn’t believe in much, but my dad died and I felt lost. I knew religion was not where I wanted to turn but I was desperately seeking something.
I found myself enrolling in Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts and learning about pleasure. To be honest I thought it would be a way to emotionally bypass my grief and an excuse to eat chocolate cake everyday. But instead what I found was my first initiation on the path of the Sacred Feminine. I began to learn about pleasure as our gateway to our power and Goddesses. Only this time instead of seeing it as heretical, I saw it as the wisdom I had been deprived of.
So for the past 15 years as I have walked the path of the Sacred Feminine, become a Priestess and continue to help women reclaim their Feminine Power it has always come back to PLEASURE.
When I learned that Mary Magdalene was a priestess, and a priestess of Isis aka a pleasure priestess and not a prostitute like we had been told - something so deep within me healed. It was as though Mary Magdalene came to me and said - everything that you have been taught is sinful - pleasure, desire, sensuality - not only is it ok…it is HOLY.
That was it, I was hooked…..the Pleasure Priestess is who I was meant to be, what i was meant to do, and what I was meant to teach.
And so I began to join different priestess spaces, Goddess circles, spiritual communities and none of them every felt truly right. They were either devoid of pleasure, disconnected from the body, too airy fairy and lacking ambition and groundedness or just plain not my thing.
Finally after years of returning to this in my mind, I am bringing forth

The 9 month initiation into the Sovereign Feminine.
I have combined the Goddesses, practices and rituals that have been hidden and forbidden for too long.
This is meant to be like you are walking into an Ancient temple, you smell the fragrant incense and see the smoke from the candles. You look around to the flowers, and beautiful decorations and women who are deeply embodied and welcoming you with open arms.
The Journey:
Inanna: The Descent: Inanna gives up her crown, jewels, and garments at each of seven gates, and dies to who she was. Then she rises. This initiation is about surrender as a source of power: letting the roles, titles, and armor fall away until you meet what remains. Women often build an identity so strong it becomes a cage. Inanna teaches you to end things well, walk through the underworld without collapsing, and come back with more authority than before. We will walk through many underworlds in our lives and it is important to master the tools of the descent.
Isis: The Reclamation
Isis gathers the scattered pieces of Osiris and remakes him through devotion, word, pleasure and magic. This is the initiation of restoration: calling back the fragmented parts of yourself, your body, and your creative life, and working with the power of the erotic. In the patriarchy you are pulled in a hundred directions and feel scattered. Isis brings you back into wholeness and teaches you to speak things into being, so your leadership becomes cohesive and magnetic instead of exhausting.
Lilith: The Refusal
Lilith would not lie beneath, she would not submit because she knew that her rightful place was not below. She chose exile and wildness over subordination. This initiation reclaims the sacred no, your anger, your appetite, and the parts of you that were called "too much.” Boundaries, and the guilt that follows them, are where many powerful women bleed energy. Lilith teaches you to be unapologetic and to stop performing agreeableness at the cost of your own life force. She is here to help you leave your good girl conditioning behind and embrace your uncaged Feminine.
Mary Magdalene: The Sovereign Priestess Mary Magdalene was a priestess, and she did not stop being one when the story around her moved on. For decades after the crucifixion she kept teaching, initiating, and leading, carrying the work with her own authority. In this school, she is not a witness at the edge of someone else's story. She is the point of it. The erasure, the smear, and the religion built around the man at her side all worked to move the light off her, and this initiation turns it back. You meet the priestess who anoints and teaches and holds a lineage, whose power was never borrowed or conferred and who never waited to be chosen. You remember that you were not meant to be the devoted follower of a master. You are the one the mysteries were entrusted to.
Aphrodite: Beauty, Pleasure and Desire as Holy
Aphrodite is beauty, desire, and pleasure as life force. This initiation is about learning that pleasure is a form of intelligence and that receptivity is a form of power. Many women run on discipline and depletion. Aphrodite teaches you to be fueled by delight, to become magnetic through owning your beauty and your pleasure and to let the erotic guide your decisions, your work, and your rest.
The Courtesans: Sovereign Wealth
The Courtesans were educated, artistic, sexually sovereign women who moved through the world on their own terms and were paid for their presence. This initiation looks at desire, value, and exchange without shame. This initiation is about embracing your boldness, over the topness and the Feminine arts of flirting and seduction as holy. You will learn to receive fully, and that there is no upper limit on pleasure.
Hekate: The Crossroads and Magic
Hekate holds the keys and the torch, and she guards thresholds. She is the witch's goddess, at home in darkness, liminality, and the choices no one else can make for you. This initiation is about discernment, shadow, and knowing which door is yours. Leaders live at crossroads and are often asked to guide others through them. Hekate sharpens your intuition, steadies you in uncertainty, and makes you unafraid of the dark places others avoid.
Reclaiming Ancestral Magic
Beneath the burned, silenced, and forgotten women in your line is a river of gifts. This initiation is about meeting your lineage, receiving what is yours, and releasing what was never meant to be carried. Much of what drives a woman to overachieve is inherited: survival patterns, scarcity, unspoken rules about who gets to be powerful. Working with your ancestors lets you lead with a lineage behind you instead of a weight on your back.
Self Anointing: The Crowning
The final initiation is the one that was always yours. No guru, church, or school decides that you are a Priestess. You anoint your own body and name your own authority, and you commit to a devotional practice that is yours alone.This is where external validation ends. You move forward trusting your own authority, with rituals that sustain you and no need for permission from anyone.
It is time to walk this path of initiation not because you need someone else’s certification course, but because your next level, your Sovereign Feminine Leader is being held on the other side of these initiations. This space is meant to give you the tools, practices and rituals to help guide you through the countless initiations you will come up against in your life, as well as a community of women who see you and support you in your power.

While I do not have a time machine to take us back to a time and place where this type of Mystery School existed, and let’s be honest even if I did I wouldn’t use it - I enjoy indoor plumbing wayyyy too much. I can create what I imagine those spaces to be for us.

Walking up to a grand temple, one with gorgeous statues of the Goddesses at the doors. When the doors open you are greeted with so much love, and the smell of incense just billows out to meet you. It is sweet and fragrant and begging you to come inside. When you step in you notice the beauty, every where your eyes dart there is more beauty to behold. The priestesses there aredancing, and singing, and laughing with each other. You are guided over to a plush red couch where you are handed a glass of wine and treats.
You instantly relax and begin to feel more alive.
This is where you will learn the rites and rituals of the Pleasure Priestess, this is where you will be initiated, where you will deepen your devotion and embodiment.
That is the vibe of our temple, even though our temple will be virtual. The Ancient Feminine Wisdom and Magic will still be there.
