The witch hunts weren’t random — they were systematic, and the truth is they didn’t burn witches they killed women who stood out.
These “witch hunts” were fear-based violence meant to erase women who embodied sovereignty, erotic power, and autonomous wisdom.
And though the hunts are over, the witch wounds remain. It remains in our bodies in our nervous systems. Ever wonder why you get so afraid to speak your truth? The witch wound robs us our of full expression which if we are being honest is needed now more than ever!
